Cooking Kibes

Appliance  temperatures  can vary. You may need  to adjust  heating  times accordingly.    
Remove contents from package, returning any unused Kibe to your freezer as soon as possible.
These  products must be cooked straight from the freezer.


DIRECTIONS FOR FRYING:

Heat approx. 500 mls of oil in a medium saucepan, for approx.  4 to 5 minutes on high.
Place the desired amount of frozen kibes in the saucepan, reducing  the heat to medium
The oil must cover the kibes. Fry for approximately 5 to 7 minutes, turning them until golden brown.
Remove Kibes  and drain on absorbent paper.


DIRECTIONS FOR CONVENTIONAL OVEN OR FAN FORCED OVEN.

Pre-heat oven to 220C for approximately 10 minutes.
Place the frozen Kibes in an oil greased oven  tray and bake them in the oven for aproximately 20 minutes.
Turn them halfway through cooking time.  
Remove tray from oven and rest for 1 to 2 mintues.  
Remove Kibes carefully from tray with a spatula.
Enjoy your Kibes with lime, tomato sauce, chilli, mustard or a green salad.

IMPORTANT:

DO NOT REFREEZE KIBES, DO NOT USE MICROWAVE,  kEEP FROZEN STORE AT OR BELOW MINUS 18C.
